The UN Global Compact Network Ghana’s Launch of the UN Global Compact Africa Strategy

Under the theme “The Importance of Sustainability in the Decade of Action: Transforming Businesses to become more Resilient and Competitive”, the program will focus on 3 key areas:
• A discussion on the importance of sustainability of business as a key driver of corporate leadership on the Sustainable Development Goals using the Ten Principles;

• An introduction of the UN Global Compact as the leading resource for businesses and a showcase of its new Africa Strategy and offerings for businesses to achieve sustainability and finally;

• A session on how companies need to be sustainable to take full advantage of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area with its opportunities.
